karete bu könnte man theoretisch einfach als „Powerhouse“ bezeichnen, wenn sie ihre dynamischen UK-und Oldschool geprägten Vinyl-Sets abfeuert. Mit ihr hinter den Decks gibt’s auf jeden Fall keine messerscharfe Perfektion – dafür aber jede Menge Schweiß, unerwartete musikalische Haken und pure Freude auf dem Parkett. Ihre Sets sind dramaturgisch durchdacht und bringen nicht nur die Füße, sondern auch die Köpfe zum Arbeiten. Abseits der Plattenteller war sie Resident DJ im legendären Leipziger Institut fuer Zukunft, wo sie die Proberaumstruktur betreute und die diversitätsorientierte Veranstaltungsreihe
DRIVE mitorganisierte. Heute operiert sie sozusagen am offenen Festival-Herzen im Produktionsteam der Nachti Events – mit mindestens genauso viel Leidenschaft wie an den Decks

Longing for deep stories on the dancefloor, Horkheimer creates spaces where time dissolves and rhythm becomes narrative. His sets are journeys – intuitive, emotional, and grounded in a diverse musical vocabulary that stretches from slow-motion trance to high-energy hypnosis.
As co-founder of Klinika Musik and former A&R of the influential Live at Robert Johnson, Horkheimer has spent the past years shaping sound not only as a DJ but as a curator and connector. His deep sensitivity for sonic storytelling has made him a recurring guest on platforms like HÖR, Refuge Worldwide, Rinse.fm, and his monthly show „Flagship Store Culture“ on THF Radio, where his sets reveal both emotional nuance and physical drive.
From his residency at Robert Johnson, he has built a global footprint, performing at spaces like Fabric London, Good Room NYC, Papaya Playa Project in Tulum, Funk CDMX, MELT!, Institut für Zukunft in Leipzig, Tempio del Futuro Perduto in Milan, and Berlin’s own Staub – always guided by the same vision: building intensity through subtlety, and connection through contrast.
His discography echoes that approach: contributions to Lifesaver 4 & 5 (Live at Robert Johnson), the joint EP „And You“ (Riotvan x LARJ), the „10 Yahre“ compilation on Ava Records (as Form), and the collabo production with Rey&Kjavik for Chloé, Paris contributing to their runway show at the Paris Fashion Week in spring 2025, showcase a thoughtful, detail-driven production style.
